Cold process soap making can be traced to ancient times, and is still in use today. Learn a little about saponification (starting with how to say it!), why soap works, and the benefits real soap brings to your skin. Soap maker Scott has already done all the chemistry in mixing of the oils and his formulation – your job is to bring creativity and determine scent, color and possible exfoliants or clay.
Join us to make a pound of all natural soap specially formulated for sensitive or damaged skin. This formula is high in anti-oxidants for skin repair, emollients to reduce inflammation, and natural oils that offer gentle anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Developed for people with fragile skin from environmental factors or medical treatments, this soap gently cleanses and supports proper skin function.
Please note: Your soap will stay overnight and will be available for pick up the next day. You will wait 2 weeks for it to cure before you can use it. If you are traveling a distance for class we will gladly ship your soap to you for a fee of $5 payable at class.
Class is $40 per person. Wear pink to the class and $5 will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
PLEASE NOTE: Classes are non-refundable, but you may transfer to another person to take your place. Refunds will be given if a class does not reach minimum requirement.
All classes are held at our shoppe location --
1905 S. Dixie Hwy Suite B, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
